NOTE: This gripper uses VACUUM TECH design which grips only hard smooth floors firmly and easily, it does not work for rug on carpeted floor. Also it does not work all rugs , it does not work for rubber backed rug ,jute rug or fluff backing rug , please check this. The adhesive surface can not be peeled once affixed on the rug.
Design Feature. This product can easily be glued under any rug. The side facing the floor features tiny suction pores. These pores utilize the VACUUM TECH feature in which whenever pressure is applied from the top, air escapes and creates a low-pressure region within the cups. This produces an adhesive effect, which keeps your rug in place.
Advantages. The rug anti curling gripper is less than 1/10 inch thick and inconspicuous after installing. Suction technology firmly sticks to the floor without causing marks or damage, and the gripper easily peels off the floor. It is convenient to wash, as you won’t have to separate it from your carpet for cleaning. The tape for rug adds extra comfort underfoot owing to the slightly bouncy nature of suction technology.
Components. This package includes 8 pieces. The size of the gripper is 3.9inch x 3.9inch. Each piece is square in order to increase the surface area in contact with the floor. That leaves your kitchen, bathroom, and hallway much more secure. You can even use them outdoors to prevent slipping and flatten corners.

I found out about this item from watching interior designer Kristen McGowen on YouTube. Very glad I went with her advice, because it is money well spent. We’ve tried rug pads that have the grid pattern as well as rug tape and neither one holds onto the floor and keeps the rug in place. After purchasing these rug pads, we put it to the test with our Shiba Inu who will get the zoomies. Rug stays perfectly in place. I no longer have to constantly adjust our rugs or worry about slipping from it moving out beneath our feet. Holds up great to our kids running around too. Definitely recommend!

Forget double-sided rug placers- glue, no matter what they say, will always destroy hardwood (and even be terrible to get off on tile). This air pocket stuff is the best, and it is one-sided, only goes on sticky to the corner of your rug side. Easily taken off but does not slide. I got 1 pack to test it out on a door mat that my 80-lb dog runs over. It immediately stopped moving. Then bought more from my hallway runners that I had the long rubber mats for underneath that would always get out of place. No more correcting. It stays! Get these. Best solution, no damage.

I recently tried the Home Techpro Rug Pads Grippers on a large area rug in my living room. Overall, they do their job—up to a point.
👍 What I Loved: • Effectively prevents curling: The vacuum-tech material kept all four corners and edges lying flat, even in high-traffic areas. • Simple to install and reuse: You just peel them off, stick them on your rug, press to secure—even after washing, they held up reasonably well. • No residue: Clean removal with no sticky residue or damage to my hardwood floors.
👎 What Fell Short: • Durability issues: After about 3 months of regular use, the adhesive started losing strength. Two corner grippers began peeling up, causing noticeable lifting at the edges. • Limited lifespan: While some products last a year or more, these didn’t hold up to the promises of long-term reliability. • Washing wear and tear: Though washable, after a few gentle hand-washes in warm water, the grip noticeably weakened—so it’s not as reusable as advertised.

These are by far the most sturdy and adhesive grippers I have found to date on Amazon. They also come up so easy to clean under rugs and still keep the same grip after multiple times pulling the rugs up. I am beyond impressed with this product and have tried several others that just don’t compare. I wish I had a photo to share but really a great product.

These things are great! I have a mat for the stove and one for bathroom sink which tends to move around on our vinyl floors. They do say not to use on foam mats but I did anyways. I guess it can potentially tear the foam but these mats are cheap enough where I wont mind if it eventually does. The sticky pads are pretty large compared to my mats so what I did was cut the 1 pad into 4s to use on 1 mat which it is more than enough. If it was a big area rug then the size would be good uncut.
